Have you ever run into something while walking? Maybe while looking at a phone?
Well, if you’re an Android user, Google wants to stop it from ever happening again. The tech giant has released Heads Up, the newest feature of its Digital Wellbeing suite that tells you to look up when it catches you walking and using your phone.
The feature is still in beta mode and is only accessible to Pixel users, but the service might be more beneficial than you think. Distracted walking (yes, that’s a real phrase) involving cell phones accounted for 11,101 serious injuries from 2000-2011 in the United States, and as cell phones become more and more commonplace, this number is only increasing.
While we can’t help you with your distracted walking issues, our experienced IT team can help with your other tech woes. Please, get in touch with us to learn more.
